"Entbandung" (or "Unscarfed"), my graduation film, just finally had its world premiere at the Festival of Animation Berlin on October 2nd 2022 (in the New Talents section, Competition III).

"Entbandung" was first pitched to my teachers in April 2017, under the working title "Halsband". Most of the animation was done in 2020 and 2021. My main two mentor figures who guided me during its production the most were Prof. Christina Schindler and Prof. Frank Geßner from the Filmuniversiy Babelsberg.
"Entbandung" was animated in TVPaint standard 10. (Which, in hindsight, was a mistake. Getting the pro version would have saved me some hassle and time.)
THE RIESENLIED PROJECT
Entbandung is set in the world of Riesenlied. The project spans over several countries and centuries. Depending on the time and place the dynamic between humans and giants can look very different.
